While out working in the gardens on Tuesday night, I had to get the camera because I thought it was funny the way that our dog Rusty, a german shorthaired pointer, had straddled the crotch of this tree so that she could try to get in a chipmunk hole that she had found.
As I was snapping pictures of her, one of the chipmunks ran up the tree, and Rusty followed.
Rusty did not catch any of the chipmunks, but she would have stayed there all night trying. After she fell down the tree twice, we decided it was best to put her away before she got hurt.
