The Return of Taco Tuesday

Tonight was the return of Taco Tuesday at the Redden household; we'll see if we can't get back into the routine of Mexican food once a week.  We didn't have anything too exciting - just regular tacos and some Spanish Rice - but it was all made from scratch.  And what I would really like everyone to take from this blog post is that you don't need a packet of seasoning to make tacos!
Taco Filling Recipe
1 lb ground beef
1 med onion, diced (1/2 cup)
1 clove minced garlic
3/4 cup water
2 T. chili powder
1 t. ground cumin
Brown one pound of ground beef with onions and garlic. Add remaining ingredients, heat to boiling, cover, reduce heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes stirring occasionally.
