Chicks!

It's chick day!  Our 70 chicks arrived in the mail this morning, and were waiting for us at the farm store this afternoon after work.  Ten of the chicks are layers, and 60 of the chicks are broilers (meat birds).  Six months from now, the layers will be giving us brown eggs, and eight short weeks from now, the broilers will be ready to butcher.

    Roma FREAKS out when she hears the sound from this video clip. It's very confusing for her.
